It has been an honour to be your Councillor and represent you and your family. I am delighted to be standing once again as your Labour Party candidate to represent the people of Somercotes, Pyebridge and part of Leabrooks on Amber Valley Borough Council on Thursday 6th May 2021.
First of all I would like to honour all of our NHS & key workers, during what has probably been one of the hardest years. You have all done a remarkable job serving the community and truly are our heroes. We are all truly thankful for your hard work and dedication. Our community means a lot to me and I will always endeavour to do my very best for our community. I will continue to hold (when safe to do so) my monthly surgeries. Giving you an opportunity to voice your concerns or raise any issues. I will continue to fight for any planning application that does not benefit Somercotes. Ensuring that our communities interests are put before the developers. I am looking forward to the next few months to be able to safely see you all again. I enjoy meeting you all in the community and I am looking forward to what the future holds. Your community is my community.
