Mark Spilsbury - Duffield

Picture
I’ve lived in Duffield for 15 years and  I am involved in the local community through being a William Gilbert School Governor, a Parish Councillor and a Board member of the Chevin Golf Club.

Its important to stand in the AVBC elections to bring Labour Party values into the local elections and to give people a Labour option to vote for.

If elected I’d take to AVBC the same issues that I work on for the Parish Council: trying to make Duffield a better place to live, learn and work.

Duffield is under constant development pressure, and we need to balance the need for people to have an affordable place to live and to avoid developing on our green spaces.
