Paul Lobley BEM
I am a retired accountant with over 45 years of experience of public sector bodies and was honoured to have received a British Empire Medal in the Queen’s 2021 New Years Honours list for over 30 years voluntary service to the community in Derbyshire.
I am delighted to be standing in the May 2021 County Council election to represent my local community of Ripley West and Heage.
I am passionate about supporting the people where I live and became a Ripley Town Councillor in 2016 and Borough Councillor for the Heage and Ambergate Ward in 2019 with that intention.
I was the Ripley Town Mayor for the 2018-2019 civic year and met a huge number of community minded citizens across the Township who selflessly provide support for others. My aim is to be able to provide seamless support for them and my community through any available Council channels.
